Waist clothing started as a vision by Milly Halley and was built with the support of family and friends.
The name Waist comes from our roots in sustainability and creativity. Using fabric offcuts and surplus materials from our Father's and Uncles' business, SLANJ KILTS, we began transforming what would have been waste into something new. By incorporating these materials into vintage garments, we turned waste into Waist.
Born from a love of thrifting and vintage designer fashion, Waist Clothing was created with a simple goal: to give clothing a second life while reducing the impact of fast fashion.
Every piece is thoughtfully reworked, combining quality materials, craftsmanship and individuality to create something truly unique.
At its heart, Waist Clothing is about making clothes that we love and sharing them with people who appreciate creativity, sustainability, and self-expression. No two pieces are exactly the same - each one has its own story, history and future.
This is just the beginning.

"Fashion has always been the one thing I wanted to pursue in life. I just love watching people feel confident in their own style, and I want to be part of creating that for them too."
